FAQs: Registration

[/vc_column_text][vc_tta_accordion style=”modern” shape=”square” spacing=”15″ c_icon=”chevron” active_section=”0″ no_fill=”true”][vc_tta_section title=”Who can register to attend?” tab_id=”1583754505527-d600d441-7070″][vc_column_text]The SDG Global Festival of Action brings together government leaders, local authorities, international organizations, civil society, activists, young advocates, the creative industry and the private sector– all working to scale up the impact of their work and strategize joint actions, whilst motivating new organizations and individuals to join the movement and take action for the SDGs.

If you are working on SDG campaigning, communications, advocacy, liaison, education, implementation or awareness raising, we want to hear from you!

We are keen to bring people together who are acting towards the achievement of the SDGs from a variety of sectors and regions to foster true collaboration and joint up actions.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”What does the registration process entail? ” tab_id=”1583754505530-ae6953d6-539a”][vc_column_text]For the registration process, you will be asked to first create a delegate profile where you enter personal information, followed by a series of more substantive questions about the SDG work you are engaged with, why you wish to attend the Festival and what you hope to get out of it.

The registration process shouldn’t take long to complete. By learning a bit more about you, the Festival Organizing Team is able to ensure a diverse and high quality mix of SDG actors in attendance from across the globe.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”When will I find out if my registration has been accepted?” tab_id=”1583754505532-ab413120-1027″][vc_column_text]Once you submit your application to attend, your submission will be reviewed by UN SDG Action Campaign team and will respond in 14 working days.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”What criteria will be used to review registration applications?” tab_id=”1583754505533-1fec8fec-67d1″][vc_column_text]The SDG Global Festival of Action is designed to be accessible and inclusive of SDG actors from a range of sectors and disciplines from across the world! With limited space, the UN SDG Action Campaign are dedicated to ensure that participation represents the diversity of stakeholders engaged in making the SDGs a reality. Therefore, registrations will be reviewed with the following principles in mind:

  1. Is this applicant serious about coming? By providing information about your SDG activities, it tells us a bit more about why you want to attend, and in order to ensure that places are not offered to those that may change their mind, the information you provide at this stage will give an indication of your interest level
  2. Monitoring subscription levels from different constituents. As places begin to fill up, the UN SDG Action Campaign reserve the right to ‘hold’ any applications from over-represented sectors or geographic regions to ensure the true diversity of SDG actors is represented in the participants offered a place at the event. The UN SDG Action Campaign will communicate with registered participants in the final weeks leading up to the event, and as spaces become available, any applicants on the ‘waitlist’ will then be offered a place.
