Performances from emerging and legendary artists, shot directly from the artists’ home countries and unique settings – from an empty concert hall to a landmark’s rooftop – will boost the Festival experience and inspire leaders across sectors and individuals to “do things differently” and #TurnItAround for the Global Goals. Shows are curated in collaboration with artists and networks bringing the world together through music, poetry and art.
Bomba Estereo, founded by musician Simón Mejía and singer Li Saumet, has become one of the most attractive music groups in the world. Its eclectic avant-garde fusion of electronic and Caribbean sounds has toured all over the world, attracting millions of people. Bomba Estereo sounds, lyrics, and performances, speak for the preservation of nature and indigenous knowledge, and promotes gender equality, equal rights and climate action.
