Given everything we’ve gone through this past year because of the pandemic, a mental health crisis has arisen. During this session Co-Founder, Psychologist, Certified Positive Discipline Educator – May Kassem, will be talking about the effect of COVID on our well-being that will include dealing with loss, grieving the passing of loved ones, and adjusting to a whole ‘new normal’. Through this session, participants will learn about about how to deal with this upcoming year that has been termed, the resulting ‘The Mental Health Pandemic’ and the importance of going THROUGH it instead of AROUND it. Touching upon philosophies of Mindfulness, Buddhist teachings, Positive Psychology, and Individual Psychology to explain how to survive this. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss and explore how each of us can apply mental well-being in our everyday lives.
